The Magic Pill for Success in Business!
Photographers seem to be searching for something!
That "something" is whatever they think that will make them successful beyond their wildest dreams! It could be a new piece of equipment. It could a new speaker or book. They even will go so far as to try to find success in the lab of said speaker or book.
But I have found it.
The Magic Pill. The Answer. The key to success.
I will go further to guarantee that if you take this Magic Pill, you will be successful. Take one per day - and only one - and you will become a great success.
Of course you're asking, "How can this be? What is the secret? How did I find it? Are you going to share it?"?
The answer is YES! And, in fact, I have included one with this issue of the newsletter. But heed this warning.... don't take the pill until you have read this entire article and agree to follow all of the instructions.
To get ready for success, you must do the following:
Define your mission. Define your purpose for being in this business
Review the last three years financial records. Look for profit centers and profit drains
Establish policies for profit
Set business goals and a marketing plan
Specialize in a couple of aspects of our industry - but don't be a Jack-Of-ALL- Trades
Develop the same passion for profit and business as you do for photography
Spend 20 minutes a day reading or listing to tapes on motivation, sales, marketing and business.
Decide to pay yourself first (see Million Dollar article last issue)
Establish a IRA, Roth IRA, SEP or other retirement fund Now, and routinely save. If you aren't a genius at investments, contact an investment professionals.
Now, every morning, take ONE pill. Suck it, do not chew it! (Do you have any self control?) During the 15 minutes that it takes for the pill to dissolve, review your mission statement, business goals and personal passions. Look for other avenues of income, renew your enthusiasm and organize your thinking.
One serious side affect could be an increased bank account, larger staff requirements and early (but comfortable) retirement. But also consider the danger of not taking the pill as prescribed which include rotten teeth, weight gain and loss of your business.
